Friends of St Mary's

We are fortunate at our school to have The Friends of St Mary's.

We are a group of parents/carers who help organise a number of events throughout the school year and have been an integral part of the school community for a number of years.

The Friends of St Mary's is about much more than simply fundraising. It exists to provide close links between home and school and is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school. All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available.

All families are automatically members of The Friends of St Mary's when their child joins our school.

We regularly organise events which include Summer and Christmas Fairs, Easter Egg Hunts, Toy and Cake Sales and Quiz nights to name but a few!

All funds raised are used to provide those 'little extras' for the pupils including helping to fund their school trips.

As a committee we are all volunteers and we would welcome any help from parents/carers of the pupils of the school. There are many ways to help even if you cannot attend meetings; we are always looking for extra help at our events or for new inspirational ideas to raise funds.
