On Wednesday 2nd November St Mary’s Football Team played their second match of the season and, once again, met tough opposition. This is a very new team with some young players and in both of the matches so far they have been up against older and more experienced players. This difference was reflected in the 7-0 score by the final whistle, but the St Mary’s team showed great team spirit and determination. They kept trying right up to the final whistle and there were some promising opportunities. Unfortunately these were not converted into goals on the day.

With more matches to come over the next few weeks, this team is growing in confidence and experience and their first win will surely come soon.
